The stained glass windows were not original to the church. When the church was built in 1962, the windows had clear, and in some places colored glass, as is still seen in the sacristy, restroom, and confessionals. By 1979 the project to complete the multi-faceted stained glass was done. We still have the original pad that Fr. Gregory Deane wrote on as he called each family donor. The installation of the windows was completed on October 31, 1979, the eve of All Saint's Day. The manufacturer was Cavallini Glass Company of San Antonio. When I arrived in 2019, there were already visible cracks and bulging of the windows on the south side. After a careful inspection in 2021, in was determined that the windows needed to be taken out and reset in new mix in order to avoid the windows falling in and risking breaking the glass pieces. The upper panels of the southern facade were done in 1994; but the project was not completed after the sudden death of our pastor, Fr. Jude Belisle. He had planned to put stained glass in the sacristy as well. So this time, in 2021 it would be Mr. Cavallini's son, Adrian, who would do the work. The windows were removed on October 19, 2021, taken to the factory in San Antonio, restored, and they were put back in on November 17, 2021. For more information on the stained glass, you may view the booklet I wrote under the About tab. Fr. Ty Bazar, Pastor.
